Kyler {outside the box}

What can I say about Kyler!  When his mum Gina called to book his senior session she described him as being "outside the box" and that he is...he is fun, outgoing and up for anything!

Kyler is also just a "nice guy" I have to say he was very polite and has good manners, when I told him so he replied that his mum had taught him well and that he hoped he had listened...you did Kyler.

Kyler is an athlete, he plays baseball, he snowboards, skateboards, scuba dives, you name it he does it.

 Kyler and his mum wanted a few shirtless shots to show the tattoo he got in memory of his Grandfather.

Enjoy your senior year, and I hope you get to do the student exchange in Australia. 

Brittany {head shots}

Last Saturday morning I did a quick head shot session for Brittany's year book photo...
we ended up doing a few extra shots, just because!

Becca {edgy senior}

I am so late getting my sessions blogged...September was a busy month and October is looking the same.  That's a good thing right!  Anyway, here's Becca...she is smart, beautiful and knows what she wants and is working hard to acheive it. 
Way to go Becca!

I know I have used this mural a few times, but it such an amazing peice of art that it's

 hard not to go back there.

 Becca's boyfriend "Bones" came along to get in a few shots too, they were so cute together.

 Gotta love a cute hat and a pair of converse.

 I wish we had more time at this location but it was getting dark and it was only 

3:30 in the afternoon...the rain was starting.

Shannon {sweet senior}

I met Shannon and her mum downtown Tacoma recently to do Shannon's senior photos...what a sweet girl, she is bright, smart, captain of the dance team and very organized.  Shannon had all of her outfits put together on hangers ready to go :)  Here are just a few of my favourite images.

Mariya {urban chic to cowgirl cutie}

With everything that's been going on these last few months I haven't had time to do any photo sessions. So when I got an email from our good friend Pat about Mariya's senior photos I was excited to get back into it and what a fabulous young woman to start back up with! Mariya is a natural in front of the camera, so photogenic, a photographers dream...Thanks Mariya, you rocked it! Here are just a few of my favourites.

We started in downtown Tacoma for some smokin' urban shots...

 

Then we headed out of the city for a country cowgirl look...Mariya pulled of both looks effortlessly.

Mariya's friend Olivia came along for fun so we got a few pics of them together...you could tell they're good friends, they did a lot of laughing and were signing Taylor Swift song's while we were doing these shots...fun!

Better late than never - Part II

So after a couple of hours shooting in downtown Tacoma we decided to switch from the "urban" scene and go "country" Yee haw! So we headed out of town to a big grassy field with a cool old barn and rickety old fence to take a few (ok, a lot) more. By the time we were finishing up the sun (yes, sun) was setting giving a beautiful golden glow to the images...love these shots!
